| DESCRIPTION | A late 19th century Victorian walnut and inlaid games and work table. The burr walnut top, with a central inset Tunbridge ware plaque depicting a cathedral surrounded by ebony and satinwood banding and with a folding swivel top that opens out to reveal inlaid backgammon, cribbage and chess boards. The fitted frieze drawer with a burr walnut sliding work box below. The whole raised on a pair of turned columns that unite with a pair of acanthus carved cabriole legs and central turned stretcher. The scroll feet mounted on small white China casters. |
