DESCRIPTION | A French oak armoire originating from the region of Brittany.
The top with a stepped pediment and a carved frieze of flowers within triangular frames below. The pair of doors each with three panels, two being of circular design and the central panels each depicting two figures drawing water from a well. The doors open to reveal a spacious interior with a movable shelf to the top and panelling to the back and sides. The base with a carved apron is raised on acanthus and scroll carved feet. Please note the interior is 49 .00 cm deep. |
