DESCRIPTION	A signed bronze figure of a young mozart tuning a violin. The whole on a circular base bearing the signature A. Gaudez. A central cartouche to the front engraved Gaudez Hors Concours. Adrien Etienne Gaudez was born in Lyon 1845 and died in Neuilly-sur-Seine in Jan 1902. He was a pupil of Francois Jouffrey at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris 1862. A plaster sculpture of his entitled Childhood of Jupiter was exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1878.
